MISE- EN- SCENE
I decided to comment on the mise- en- scene of the 1939 film called "The rules of the game" directed by Jean Renoir. Aviator André Jurieux has just completed a record-setting flight and all he can say to the crowd is how miserable he is that the woman he loves did not come to meet him. As the guests arrive for the party, their cordial greetings hide their real feelings, along with their secrets - and even some of the servants are involved in tangled relationships. The Rules of the Game takes place in pre-World War II France. World renowned pilot André Jurieux returns to France after flying solo over the Atlantic Ocean. Robert is engaged in an affair with Geneviéve, but Robert wants to end the relationship and rededicate himself to his wife. Preparing to film
Actors- Theresa and Peter are the athletes and Courtney is the FGCU scout. Costumes- Theresa and Peter will wear their baseball and softball uniform and Courtney will wear FGCU clothing gear. Props- Softball/baseball bats, gloves, cleats, balls, and cleats for the athletes. Clipboard with paper for FGCU scout. Location- Lely High School baseball and softball field, the bleachers and tables by the field. Date and Time- We will be filming during this class period around 11 this Friday of this week. Scripts- Theresa and Peter will talk about who the lady is in the bleachers watching our practice. Then it will have clips of Courtney (scout) talking to both athletes about college and the rest will just be background music. Film Equipment- We will use Theresa's phone too record so that once we finish, we can edit on the same device.
